How to Create a Website Using Sitejet Builder

Welcome to Eastern Shore Web Services! If you want a fast, drag-and-drop way to build a professional website without dealing with the technical setup of WordPress, Sitejet Builder is the perfect tool for you.

Sitejet Builder is included for free in your hosting control panel. It allows you to choose a stunning template (or let AI generate a layout for you), customize it visually, and publish it directly to your domain in minutes—no coding required.

Here is how to launch your new site:

Step 1: Open Sitejet Builder

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Scroll down to the Domains section (or look in the left-hand sidebar) and click on Sitejet Builder.
  3. You will see a list of the domains associated with your account. Locate the domain where you want to build your new website and click Build with Sitejet.

Step 2: Choose Your Design

Once you click the build button, you will be presented with a few options to jumpstart your website:

  • Templates: Browse through a wide selection of professionally designed, mobile-friendly templates sorted by industry. Hover over one you like and click to select it.
  • Start from Scratch: If you prefer a completely blank canvas, you can choose to start with an empty layout.
  • AI Website Generator: Want to skip the busywork? You can provide a few prompts about your business, and the AI tool will automatically generate a complete website structure, layout, and starter copy for you!

Step 3: Customize Your Website

After selecting a template or generating your layout, you will be taken into the Sitejet Website Builder (CMS). This is your visual editor.

  • Drag and Drop: Click on any text, image, or button to edit it directly on the screen.
  • Add Sections: Use the menu on the left to drag new elements (like contact forms, galleries, or pricing tables) right onto your page.
  • Auto-Save: Sitejet automatically creates a backup every 5–10 minutes while you work, so you don't have to worry about losing your progress. You can also press Ctrl + S to save a draft manually.

Step 4: Publish to the Web

When you are completely satisfied with how your site looks on desktop and mobile, it is time to make it live!

  1. Click the Publish button (usually located in the upper right corner of the builder).
  2. The system will automatically export your design and publish all the necessary files directly to your domain's document root in cPanel.

Note on Existing Files: If you already have an old website or files on your domain, publishing a new Sitejet site will overwrite them. The system will prompt you to confirm the publication and may ask you to create a "restore point" just in case you need to revert to your old site.
